Congratulations, you won the employee of the month award! How did you feel when you found out that you won?

Thank you. I felt joy in my heart and I felt that I had done something good for Purnaa.

We want to get to know you a little bit better. Can you tell us about your family?

I am the eldest in my family; I have three brothers and three sisters. They all still live quite near to me. Now I live with my husband and his family, so I have more brothers and sisters. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and we have one son who is in class 9.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to call and talk to my friends or meet up with them. I also like to spend time on the internet and Facebook.

Who is your role model and why?

There’s not really a specific person, but I want to know people who have more knowledge and wisdom so I can learn from them.

What is something fun or interesting you have done recently?

Recently I got to join the sampling team for a few weeks. I worked on some samples for a customer who came to visit and they brought sweets from their country for us. That made me feel very happy.

If you only had one word to describe yourself, what would it be?

Having an understanding heart and understanding others.

When have you been most satisfied in your life?

When I started at Purnaa was when I felt the most satisfied in my life.

What is your job at Purnaa?

I am a sewer on Team Ekata.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I like putting everything together for the designs and learning new things. My favorite items to make are bags.

How long have you worked at Purnaa?

Around 1 year.

What did you do before you worked at Purnaa?

I was sewing in a boutique.

What motivated you to come to work at Purnaa?

I like the system and working environment. I found Purnaa on the internet and saw that there was a job vacancy. I called and talked to Rebecca and came for an interview.

What have you learned from working at Purnaa that you would like to share with others?

I’d like to teach other people to work according to systems and to treat everyone equally.

What dreams do you have for the future?

My dream is to be able to work with Purnaa for a long time.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I hope that we will continue to get orders so that our work will continue and Purnaa will grow and create more jobs.
